- Gave away more than 3,500 gently used books to visiting children
- Donated volunteer hours reading, playing games and making crafts with

Cinderella's Closet - Outfitted 375 young ladies representing 75 public schools and 18 private schools from throughout Chicagoland
- Collected hundreds of new and gently-used dresses and accessories through 22 area dress drives
- Received $20,000 in brand new jewelry donated by Lia Sophia
- Attracted participation by 100+ (non-member) community volunteers
Done in a Day - Provided hands-on, financial and material support to Habitat for Humanity
- Prepared “sleeping bags” filled with books, blankets, toothbrushes and teddy bears for the children of Mutual Ground
- Held a blood drive that brought in more than 30 pints of blood to benefit Heartland Blood Centers
- Donated time, money and 1,500 pounds of food to Northern Illinois Food Bank
- Wrapped children’s birthday gifts for the Humanitarian Service Project
- Hosted a Holiday Gift Tree for Salvation Army
- Collected new pairs of children’s pajamas for The Pajama Program
Fitting In Together (FIT) - Conducted a series of five successful seminars
- Reached 175 girls from more than 25 area elementary and junior high schools
- Grew program awareness and interest by more than 150 percent
Frosty's Closet - Collected hundreds of gently used winter wear items in just over a month through community clothing drives and member donations
- Used monetary donations to purchase hundreds of new hats, gloves and scarves to give away at the event
- Provided more than 400 area children with warm outerwear for winter
Kids in the Kitchen - Educated more than 1,100 children and their parents about the importance of good nutrition
- Compiled and distributed healthy lifestyle goody bags filled with activities promoting good health and nutrition at the Kane County Cougar’s “Home Run for Healthy Kids” event
Story Wizards - Promoted literacy to more than 2,000 at-risk children
- Donated more than 200 volunteer hours reading to children monthly at five community locations
- Held a holiday book drive at Barnes & Noble to collect new books for the program
- Collected hundreds of gently-used books through member contributions
- Partnered with the Aurora Public Library to commemorate Hispanic Heritage Month providing activities and read-alouds during the “Fiesta de Luces” celebration
- Hosted a family reading night at the Illinois Math and Science Academy to promote literacy
