The Junior League of Kane & DuPage Counties, Inc. (JLKD) provides outreach services to organizations and individuals in Kane, DuPage, Will, and Kendall counties. Our members, reflecting a wide range of backgrounds, interests, and professional pursuits, work together to identify unmet needs, forge effective coalitions, and work for change.

The JLKD is part of a larger body of leagues, known as the Association of Junior Leagues International. The women of Junior League are focused not only on addressing the basic needs of our community, including food, healthcare, housing and education, but also cultural enrichment projects which inspire children and families to broaden their imaginations and their knowledge of the world around them.

We enrich our membership through meaningful volunteer options, training and leadership development, recruiting and retention strategies, increased Sustainer involvement, and a growing sense of ownership and empowerment in our members.

Mission Statement
The Junior League of Kane & DuPage Counties, Inc. is an organization of women committed to promoting voluntarism, developing the potential of women and improving communities through the effective action and leadership of trained volunteers. Its purpose is exclusively educational and charitable.

Vision Statement
To train volunteers to improve the lives of children at risk in the community by promoting literacy, developing self-esteem, and providing positive programming.
